Ottumwa is roughly 75 miles southeast of Des Moines and
west of Burlington, Iowa along US-63, US-163 and US-34, which provides
uncongested access to the major I-35 north-south interstate corridor through
Des Moines which extends from Minneapolis-St. Paul and central Canada down
to Kansas City, Wichita, Oklahoma City, Texas and Mexico.
It is also easy to access the major I-80 east-west interstate
corridor that extends from Des Moines, Iowa City, and Davenport to just
south of the Chicago, Illinois area to the east coast, and west through
Omaha, Nebraska to the west coast. One can also
connect to I-74 and other eastern and southern interstate routes via
Burlington, Iowa and Galesburg, Illinois via Peoria. |
