businesses with also every aspect of the project - site selection, incentive
assistance (from explaining to completing applications and working with them
on the compliance paperwork), guide them through the proper channels for
permitting, introducing them to other professionals who can assist them with
their project needs. We can even serve as the collection point for potential
suppliers to a project and can work with the employer and the Department of
Labor to put into place a screening process that will ensure the employer
gets the right employee out of the hundreds of applicants.

formed the Central Louisiana Economic Development Alliance (CLEDA) - it is a
public Private Partnership comprised of the Cities of Alexandria and
Pineville, the Rapides Parish Police Jury, The England Authority, The Port
of Alexandria, and the Greater Alexandria Economic Development Authority.
Together with the private donors of the Chamber's Economic
Development Advisory Council and through a contract with the State of
Louisiana's Department of Economic Development, the professional staffs of
these organizations work throughout the region. |
