Frank Spano rejoined The Austin Company in 1991 and was promoted to his
current role in 1994. His location strategy projects over the years
have included :
- airline and aerospace industry
- banking industry
- US Government operations
- dairy industry
- plastics operations
- several food processing operations
- several automotive component projects
The work has been throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico, and has
included final incentive negotiations at the state and local levels.
Site and building due diligence services, for both "greenfield" sites and
existing industrial buildings, have been performed for numerous clients in
the newspaper, food processing, and metalworking industries.
He worked from 1989 to 1991 as a consultant for a retail / commercial
marketing firm, including single and multi-location retail assessment and
sales forecasting work, consumer research, and shopping center strategy
analysis, including tenant assessment for numerous clients.
From 1985 to 1989 Mr. Spano served as a Site Location Consultant and project
manager for several types of clients, including
- banking and insurance center operations
- food processing operations
- automotive component manufacturing
- newspaper publishing facilities
- metalworking operations
- European textile and food plants
Prior to joining The Austin Company in 1985, Frank Spano was employed by a
commercial and industrial real estate organization and by several private
retail consulting firms. He performed market research at the office,
commercial and industrial levels, real estate appraising, retail trade area
delineation and analysis, retail site location, and sales forecasting.
