| fDi (Foreign Direct Investment) magazine
launched fDi Atlas as a new online tool tool for business location research in 2007. This makes
it easy for executives and their professional advisors to research participating business locations worldwide as potential
places to do business. This is being promoted through a
major Financial Times advertising
campaign, global events, and other marketing work.
Presentations are sponsored and maintained directly by the
local economic development organizations through a simple editing process.
This shares timely local market knowledge, including industry cluster
information, with links and contacts for more details.

A 1/4 page advertisement on the back page of

FT in the UK. The ad copy was: "Get more investment information on the regions that
interest you"
"The fDi Atlas is an essential search and reference

and concise investment information on the cities and regions that interest
you."

A full page ad in the Financial
Times on May 4, 2007 also promoted the
fDi North American Cities of the Future winners
through the Companies & Markets section of the Financial Times.
Similar ads are planned to keep promoting fDi and this new
fDi Atlas service to the
FT audience worldwide.
This demonstrates the commitment of the Financial Times group
to remain the most trusted source of information for top executives and
their advisors as they develop capital investment project plans.
The FT has roughly 450,000 subscribers, and FT.com attracts
millions of business leaders and professionals. No other magazine in this
market can tap into that sort of reach as a trusted and valuable resource
among top decision-makers in the USA and worldwide.
fDi magazine already reaches more C-level executives at large
companies worldwide (>500 employees) than any of the other specialty
publications in this niche market. The 2007 marketing plan of fDi will
continue to leverage the global reach of other FT products and special
events to attract the top decision-makers who are responsible for strategic
business location decisions.
The www.fdimagazine.com
website attracts 40,000+ visitors per month (and growing), and we
will also feature US advertisers in fDi Atlas through our own websites as a
bonus (50,000+ visitors per month and growing - for a combined total of
over 1 million visitors per year).
Since fDi is read by top executives at major companies
worldwide, who have been very carefully qualified through market research
work, fDi Atlas was very carefully designed to serve such executives and
their advisors as they search for information about the regions which
interest them at any time. |
The following are examples of regions which have
already chosen to participate in the new fDi Atlas as it
launches online in May
2007. For the latest details, refer to the
A-Z list of sponsor regions.
