| Unsolicited referrals If you are aware
of area representatives which you think could benefit from more
active participation in our
services
to such organizations (such as GUIDE or SICR) so that we become more
familiar with their capabilities to serve executives like yourself, please:
- Introduce them to this website, so that they can become familiar
with the scope of what we do, and how they might benefit
- Encourage them to contact us directly by phone or e-mail
- Tell us if you think we should contact them first
Although basic services such as the GUIDE Network survey process are free,
we are obviously most interested in area representatives which can invest in
other GUIDE and SICR services so that we will have the necessary resources
to identify and support more investment projects.
As more areas participate, we can offer better services to executives. |
Project Follow-up Research
Area
representatives are often unable to share information with us about their
work with executives, even if we referred them to each other. They may
have signed non-disclosure agreements, or may simply prefer not to share
information as a general practice to respect confidentiality, which is good.
Whether we referred you to an area representative, or whether you found
the contact by other means, we therefore welcome direct feedback about any
services which you believe might be of interest to future investors.
You are in a better position to help us understand the scope and
value of their services from the perspective of an investor, such as by
sharing practical "lessons learned"
and "proven solutions" so that we
don't have to rely on their own promotional claims when making referrals.
Since area representatives typically cannot share details of the work which
they have done for executives, or be as objective about the actual value of
their work, we rely upon executives like yourself for such feedback and
referrals.
We don't need to know sensitive project details. We mainly need to
know about their services in practice so we can make good referrals in the
future. |
| Follow-up to Referrals by GDI Solutions
If we have referred an area representative to you, we
certainly welcome feedback about the outcome of such introductions.
We always hope such introductions will prove to be valuable,
but we need both good and bad feedback to continually improve the quality of
such referrals. If we made a mistake, we need to know so that it
doesn't happen again. If our referral was valuable, or perhaps even
more valuable than we anticipated, such knowledge helps us to focus and
improve our referral work.
You may, for example, benefit significantly from some aspect of their
services which we should get to know better because of potential relevance
to other executives. As a negative example, your work together may
identify important limitations in their capabilities of which we were not
aware, which can also help us to be more responsive to other executives in
the future, or help them to improve their capabilities.
In short, we want to make valuable introductions. To do this, we
need to know the outcome of past introductions, and identify how we and our
contacts can improve the quality of services to executives such as yourself. |
GUIDE Area Profiles, Area Reports, and Experience Reports
If you have worked with area representatives and believe that it would be
helpful for them to support executives such as yourself by investing in the
preparation of GUIDE Area Profiles, Area Reports, or Experience Reports,
please let them know that you would like them to make such information
available in the future. This may help them to better understand the
value of such services from the perspective of executives who they wish to
serve.
If such Area Profiles or Reports were already available for an area where
you have invested or have done research about potential investment projects,
or if you are aware of similar reports which are already available from an
area, please let us know how you used the reports and what sort of
information was most helpful in practice, and what you think should be
included to make such reports even more valuable to executives like yourself
in general.
Finally, if any such reports contained information which you believe was
misleading or inaccurate, including omission of significant issues which you
identified through your own research or experience in the area, please let
us know so that we can improve the quality of our knowledge and alert other
investors and the area representatives to such concerns as appropriate. |
