| Unsolicited referrals
If you are aware
of any professional services which you think could benefit from more active
participation in our services to such organizations (such as GUIDE or SICR),
or simply think we should know more about their capabilities to better serve
executives such as yourself, please:
- Introduce them to this website, so that they can become familiar
with the scope of what we do, and how they might benefit
- Encourage them to contact us directly by phone or e-mail
- Tell us if you think we should contact them first
We are not exclusively interested in service providers who might invest
in the various GUIDE and SICR services, although that would help to expand
our available resources to identify and support more investment projects,
and thereby increase the base of knowledge and contacts which can benefit
executives such as yourself in the future. We mainly want to be aware
of any service providers whose work has proven to be valuable for executives
such as yourself when planning or implementing major investment projects. |
Project Follow-up Research
Professional service providers are often unable to share information with us
about their work with clients, even if we referred them to the client
originally.
Whether we referred you to a service provider, or whether you found the
service provider by other means, we welcome feedback about services which
you believe might be of interest to future investors.
You are in a better position to help us understand the scope and
value of their services from the perspective of a client, such as by sharing
practical "lessons learned" and "proven
solutions" so that we don't have to rely on their promotional claims of
valuable service capabilities when making referrals. Since service
providers typically cannot share details of the work which they have done
for clients, or be as objective about the actual value of their work, we
rely upon executives like yourself for such feedback and referrals.
We don't need to know sensitive project details. We mainly need to
know about their services in practice so we can make good referrals in the
future. |
| Follow-up to Referrals By GDI Solutions
If we have referred a professional service provider to you, we certainly
welcome feedback about the outcome of such introductions. We always
hope such introductions will prove to be valuable, but we need both good and
bad feedback to continually improve the quality of such referrals. If
we made a mistake, we need to know so that it doesn't happen again. If
our referral was valuable, or perhaps even more valuable than we
anticipated, such knowledge helps us to focus and improve our referral work.
You may, for example, benefit significantly from some aspect of their
services which we should get to know better because of potential relevance
to other executives. As a negative example, your work together may
identify important limitations in their capabilities of which we were not
aware, which can also help us to be more responsive to other executives in
the future. |
GUIDE Service Experience Reports
If
you would be willing to be interviewed in greater detail about your own
experience (good or bad) working with a particular professional service
provider on major investment projects, please let us know.
Whether or not a service provider chooses to prepare a formal GUIDE
Service Experience Report to independently document their experience with
clients such as yourself for their own purposes (such as for internal
reference as feedback to improve their services, or to make a summary Report
of such feedback available to potential clients), we welcome the opportunity
to develop a more thorough understanding of the value of their services in
practice. They may not choose to introduce us to their clients for
this purpose, but clients such as yourself are obviously free to share
experiences with us as appropriate. Once again, we seek both good and
bad feedback to develop a balanced perspective which will assist similar
executives. |
