Suggestions are
welcome The following table is intended to quickly make
many area
representatives and service providers aware when GDI
Solutions is supporting a non-confidential project (whether anonymous or
identified by company name) for which help is needed. Even after a location
search or selection decision is publicly announced, we may be able to
introduce other services to support the successful implementation of the
project.
The responsible executives must have
agreed that we may share some project information openly in this manner,
such as to solicit responses from any support organizations whose capabilities may
seem to be relevant to their needs.
This can be analogous to an open RFP process, except that
the investor may prefer not to be identified
until any replies are reviewed for relevance to their needs. If the
executive agrees, however, this listing may already identify who to contact
directly
at the company for any service which may be able to meet their indicated
needs.
Normally, GDI Solutions can make appropriate introductions
at the right time according to the interests of the executives involved and
our established sources of project support, including any responses received
through this open process. This process may also be
useful when the interests of the investor are at a very preliminary stage of
planning, when direct introductions may be less appropriate until a more
active stage of project planning is reached. |
Area
representatives and service providers may want to bookmark this page
to review open requests for project support periodically. We may be
working on a project for which their capabilities would be relevant, as we
may not be aware of such capabilities in the absence of active participation
in our services.
We will typically highlight the existence of open requests
for project support on our home page to call attention to them, as they are
likely to occur infrequently. This is not an RFP
publishing process for "project leads" to be broadcast to anyone who
might be interested. It is another professional way to find
solutions when our own network of contacts and research capabilities do not
adequately address the investor's needs more privately. Usually, this
approach will not be necessary.
Normally, requests for support will be made
through direct introductions on the basis of our knowledge and network of
contacts developed through
working relationships among active participants in our services, rather than through the publication of
open
requests for assistance here.
The open request is more likely to be used when it proves
very difficult to identify appropriate solutions for an investor's very
specialized needs without undertaking a wider and more open search such as
this, or engaging in costly research, typically after using our existing
network of contacts and research capabilities already.
The listings are intended to be helpful to the executives and
active participants or contacts of GDI Solutions as a quick way to solicit
responses in a consistent manner for projects anywhere in the world. This table may link to further details about specific
project needs, when available. |
